Spea hammondii
(Baird, 1859)
Ensenada, Baja California Norte, Mexico. April 25, 2018.
This little frog is about as photogenic as they come. Headlights picked it out on a lonely two-lane road in the foothill; I shot it in situ on the blacktop, and then nudged it off the asphalt to a safer spot.
