Painted Ant Nest Frog

Lithodytes lineatus
(Schneider, 1799)
Madre Selva field station, Depto Loreto, Peru. January 16, 2013.

One of my all-time favorite frogs, and something of a poison frog mimic (of Ameerega femoralis, more than likely), these pretty little frogs are common around (you guessed it) ant hills. A monotypic species.
