Green-striped Vine Snake

Philodryas argentea
(Daudin, 1803)
Madre Selva field station, Depto Loreto, Peru. January 15, 2013.

Formerly in Oxybelis, this fascinating serpent keeps its tongue sticking out of its head most of the time. A very difficult snake to photograph as it never stops moving.
