Buckley’s Forest Lizard

Alopoglossus buckleyi
(O’Shaughnessy, 1881)

This litter-dwelling teiid is similar to Alopoglossus angulatus. Its identifying characteristic are the small scales posterior to the ear openings (angulatus has enlarged scales).
