Baja California Collared Lizard

Crotaphytus vestigium
Smith & Tanner, 1972
Baja Sur, Mexico. September 5, 2013.

North of Loreto, the collared lizards inhabit rock outcrops and boulder piles along the roadside. My buddy Alex Krohn, handy with a noose, managed to drop a loop of dental floss over this young vestigium.
